FPSO Topside HSE Supervisor

a) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a

related field

b) 10 years Having experience working in FPSO/FPU/FLNG and brownfield project

c) Extensive experience with HSE planning, assurance, and managing safety operations

d) Proficiency in developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE management systems in

alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)

e) Experience with HSE audits, inspections, and surveillance activities on FPSO project sites

f) Ability to identify and document non-conformances, and lead the resolution process

to prevent recurrence

g) Knowledge of SIMOPS procedures and the ability to manage simultaneous operations safely

h) Familiarity with risk assessment and management techniques

i) Develop and implement HSE management systems to ensure compliance with company

policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards

j) Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and surveillance activities on FPSO project sites

k) Identify and document non-conformance, and lead the resolution process to prevent

recurrence

l) Manage SIMOPS activities to ensure safe and efficient operations

m) Coordinate with various departments to ensure HSE compliance during planning and

execution phases

n) Prepare and present HSE reports to management and stakeholders

o) Provide training and support to project teams on HSE procedures and best practices

p) Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for HSE process

HSE Construction Specialist (Scaffolding)

Requirements:

Possess a Level 2 or 3 Scaffolding Inspector Certificate (certified by BNSP or an international institution such as CISRS / TUV / NASC).

Minimum Diploma (D3) / Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scaffolding Engineer/Specialist.

Fluent in English

Job Descriptions:

Prepare and review: Engineering design for scaffolding in various construction activities (access, platform, cantilever, hanging scaffold, etc.), load calculations, and safety factors based on site conditions.

Responsible for the execution of scaffolding erection and dismantling in accordance with the design and Client HSE requirements/standards.

Ensure: Scaffolders use complete PPE, proper fall protection and full-body harnesses, and that scaffolding is built on stable surfaces and securely tied.

Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the tagging system (Green, Yellow, Red tag), Daily Scaffold Inspection Checklist, and Permit to Work (PTW) for restricted areas (confined space, working at height, etc.).

Conduct regular technical inspections of scaffolding to: Ensure structural stability, feasibility, and safety; review field modifications and design adjustments if required.

Perform risk assessments (HIRA) related to scaffolding use in high-risk areas, and collaborate with the Construction, Safety, QA/QC, and Operations teams.

Attend toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and pre-job meetings.

Prepare reports: Scaffold erection plan, daily progress, and inspection reports for clients/auditors.

Support the HSE team in Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programs, specifically for work at height and/or confined space activities involving scaffolding.

Proficient in: Planning and calculating scaffolding loads (working load, point load, wind load), designing and analyzing scaffolding systems (modular & tube & fitting), international standards: BS EN 12811, OSHA 1926 Subpart L, API RP 2D, NORSOK.

Capable of preparing: Scaffold drawings, Material Take-Off (MTO), Method Statements, erection/dismantling schedules, and scaffolder safety supervision.
