JOB DESCRIPTION:
Setup and organize Safety Training and Campaign

Updating the list of Safety related regulation to comply with government regulation and law
Monitoring and educating Occupational Safety ( K 3 ) to employee
Supporting Plan for Clinic management system, MCU and Occupational Healthy program
Conduct environment audits, measurement and on-site inspections to identify environment issue, contamination and hazardous handling with technical specialists and external health and safety authorities

We are seeking a skilled HSE Supervisor (contract based) to provide support for our manufacturing operations. 

Placement in Medan, North Sumatera.

In this position, we need you to play vital role in:

Implement workplace health, safety, and environmental programs.
Develop and maintain health, safety, and environmental systems.
Support data collection on health, safety, and environmental performance.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and sustainability regulations; prepare quarterly and semester reports in line with AMDAL (Environmental Impact Assessment).
Execute the PROPER program and ensure regulatory compliance.
Ensure adherence to Green Industry Program standards and company policies.
Monitor environmental performance, including water, air quality, and waste management.
Prepare and submit GHG reports.
Lead initiatives such as solar panel installations and LEAN projects.
What you will need to succeed in this role:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. 
A minimum of 3 years of experience in palm oil refinery. 
Proficient in data processing, analysis, and presentation preparation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Experienced in cross-functional coordination with excellent English communication.
Proficient in using computer.

Job Description:

Lead and develop the company’s health, safety, and environmental strategies for heavy equipment manufacturing operations.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
Develop, communicate, and enforce HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure the facility complies with industry safety standards, local regulations, and environmental laws.
Organize and deliver training programs on safety procedures, emergency response, machinery operation, and HSE best practices to all employees.
Promote and manage safety awareness programs to foster a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization.
Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents to determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and report findings to management.
Ensure timely reporting and documentation of workplace injuries and unsafe practices.
Monitor and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
Ensure that all safety permits and documentation are up to date and audit-ready.

Develop, test, and implement emergency response procedures, including evacuation plans, fire drills, and hazard-specific protocols.
Oversee emergency response teams and ensure they are trained to handle workplace emergencies effectively.
Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the heavy equipment or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Experience in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and investigations.
Proven track record of designing and delivering safety training programs.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze data and use it to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
