HSE Junior Officer

About the role
As a K3L professional, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across manufacturing oil & gas operations. You will ensure compliance with company procedures, applicable regulations, and HSE management systems, while conducting safety inspections, supporting incident investigations, promoting safety awareness, and maintaining accurate K3L documentation and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain, control, and update all records, data, and documents related to the HSE Management System, SMK3, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 in accordance with company procedures, applicable regulatory requirements, and 5S principles.
- Conduct socialization and enhance understanding of all employees, vendors, and related parties regarding K3L provisions and procedures in the company
- Manage of Surat Izin Masuk Lokasi (SIML) and CSMS Migas
- Implement safety induction for new employees and company guests in accordance with applicable needs and requirements
- Assist in investigating incidents and work accidents and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
- Prepare draft, maintain, and monitor updates to K3L documents to ensure they remain in accordance with company standards and applicable requirements
- Maintain completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of K3L documentation and reporting in accordance with company standards and applicable legal requirements
- Conduct routine inspections of fire extinguishers (APAR) throughout the building to ensure their condition, accessibility, placement, and validity comply with applicable standards and requirements.
About you
- Minimum D3/S1 education in K3, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as HSE/Safety
- Valid K3 Certification, Preferably with K3 Migas certification
- Familiar with management of Surat Izin Masuk Lokasi (SIML) and CSMS Migas cycle
- Preferred: Understanding of K3 Management System (SMK3), K3, Internal Audit, Risk Assessment Management
- Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills
- Preferred: Good English communication ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure and conduct inspections of fire protection equipment and emergency preparedness.
- Conduct HSE inductions and routine inspections for internal works and fit-out activities.

Good understanding of internal and external HSE-related administration and documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
